AI NCLEX Question Set Checker
Asking ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini for 50 NCLEX-style questions takes ten seconds. Knowing whether the set is any good takes longer. This checker reads the questions you paste and counts the things text can show: how many questions have an answer key, how the correct answers spread over A, B, C, and D, which stems are near-repeats, and which common topics keep coming back.
It is for nursing students who already quiz themselves with an AI assistant and want to know what they are practicing on before they trust it.

Paste the questions an assistant wrote for you, answer key included. This runs in your browser; nothing is sent or saved.
Ask any assistant for 20 to 50 NCLEX-style questions with an answer key, paste the whole reply above, and the checks appear here.
How the checker works
- A question is any line that starts with a number ("1.", "2)", "Question 3:"). Options are lines that start with a letter ("A.", "b)"). The key comes from an "Answer:" or "Correct answer:" line under the question, or from an "Answer key" section at the end.
- Answer spread counts single-answer questions only. Select-all-that-apply items are counted separately. The checker flags a lopsided key when one letter is correct well above an even share and at least 8 keyed questions were found.
- Near-repeats compare the content words of every pair of stems after dropping filler such as "nurse", "client", and "which". A pair that shares at least half of its content words is listed.
- Topic lean looks for about 17 common NCLEX topics (heart failure, potassium, anticoagulants, maternity, delegation and others) in the stems and options. It is a keyword count, not a clinical judgment.
- It cannot tell you whether a key is right or how hard a question is. A wrong key reads the same as a right one, and difficulty only shows up when real students answer the question.
- Nothing leaves your browser. There is no account, no AI model call, and no network request.
Why it works
Questions people ask
- Are ChatGPT NCLEX questions accurate?
- Many are, and some are not, and a generated set does not tell you which. In one 2025 study of 100 ChatGPT-written exam questions for emergency-medicine doctors, expert reviewers flagged 6% as factually incorrect and 14% as duplicates or near-duplicates. Check keys against a reliable source before you learn from them.
- Why does it matter where the correct answers sit?
- If one letter is correct far more often than the others, you can score points by pattern instead of by knowledge, which makes a practice score look better than your understanding. Research on AI-generated multiple-choice questions has found systematic answer-position biases.
- Does the checker send my questions anywhere?
- No. It runs entirely in your browser, makes no network requests, and stores nothing.
- What is a better source of NCLEX practice questions?
- A structured bank whose questions are tagged to the NCSBN test plan, checked before publishing, explained, and measured on real student answers. NurseSavvy’s NCLEX-style questions are free and unlimited on a free account.
