What is on the TEAS 7?
Four sections, 170 questions total: Reading (45 questions, 55 minutes), Mathematics (38 questions, 57 minutes), Science (50 questions, 60 minutes), and English & Language Usage (37 questions, 37 minutes). Science is the largest scored section, and human anatomy & physiology is its biggest block. Twenty of the 170 are unscored pretest items.
Is this the current version of the exam?
Yes — everything here follows the ATI TEAS 7 blueprint, the version used by nursing programs today, including its section weights and question types (multiple choice plus multiple-select, fill-in-the-blank, ordering, and hot-spot items).

What if my program requires the HESI A2 instead?
The two exams overlap heavily — anatomy & physiology, math, reading, grammar, and vocabulary form the core of both. The TEAS curriculum covers that shared foundation, and HESI-specific prep is on the roadmap. Tell us you are a HESI student when you sign up and you will be first to know.
What score do I need?
It varies by program: many schools set a minimum composite around 60-70%, and competitive programs often expect 80%+, with some weighting the Science section separately. Check the exact requirement on your program’s admissions page — then aim above it.
